Housed within the walls of the former Bethlehem Convent, a 17th-century landmark, the property carries the quiet dignity of centuries past. Once home to a community of religious sisters, the convent was a place of contemplation, devotion, and simplicity, values that still subtly shape the spirit of the building today.

Through the centuries, the estate evolved with the rhythm of history. Following the French Revolution, the site entered a new chapter, later being reacquired in 1807 and entrusted once more to religious purpose. 
 
In 1831, it became a minor seminary under the Bishop of Namur, before gradually transitioning through cultural and institutional uses, each leaving its imprint on the soul of the property.

Today, La Merveilleuse has been meticulously restored, preserving its architectural authenticity while embracing understated contemporary comfort.
